Why are fillable forms important?
Many of us have attempted to create forms by adding graphics that look like checkboxes, or by typing several underscore characters “______” to mark where to write information. But when we attempt to check the checkbox, or use the line to write information, we find out this is not possible.
In order to insert usable form fields, MS Word provides 2 kinds of form control tools. However, only the Legacy Tools in the Developer tab will allow you to create forms that are accessible to individuals using a screen reader.
