Assistance

Most of your visually impaired co-workers will already know their way around APH. However, if you think someone may need assistance, feel free to ask by offering him or her to hold your arm just above the elbow. This is known as the Human Guide Technique. While they hold on to your elbow, walk normally, the person will follow a step behind and will feel when you turn or stop. Piece of cake!
