Guiding Multiple Travelers

A good approach when guiding multiple people is to have all travelers hold on to each other’s arm, while using the technique used in narrow areas and crowds. This way, you will all be walking in a single file, minimizing the space needed to travel through doors, hallways or sidewalks. If possible, have anyone with a guide dog walk in the back so they can maintain a grip on the dog’s leash.
