Mobility: White cane, guide dogs, technology and transportation
Most people who are visually impaired travel using one of two mobility aids, a cane, or a guide-dog. However, some people alternate between a white cane and a dog, or may travel using additional tools that provide audio or haptic feedback.
In this module, we will explore ways people who are visually impaired travel safely and independently, and will provide answers to questions you may have about these tools and how to best provide directions to your co-workers and friends.
